I think I've found a new favorite couple. Mia and Parker are the cutest. Amazing how two people who are both full of ambitious have some much hesitation.Mia and Parker have this amazing friend, but I want to be more than friends relationship. It's obvious that they want each other, but refuse to commit for various reasons.
Mia recently broke things off with her duchess bag boyfriend and is ready to get her live her life in her terms. I'm highly convinced that catching him in the act of cheating was the best the thing he could have done. In efforts to be done with him she decides to do something she's never done before. Get in bed with a stranger. As fate would have it she presented with a unique invitation to an exclusive club where her fantasies can become reality.
I adored Parker, he has this very respectable persona thing going on. I'm not sure if the authors wants to make him a playboy, I couldn't see him that way. After some persuasion from a college buddy he entertains the idea of becoming a silent invested in an exotic club Society X.
The chemistry between these two leaves one intrigued as to what occurred for them not to be together or what could have been.Dark Room is told with a dual pov. The writing is written with this heart racing pace that keeps you excited and on the edge of your seat. Not to mention all of the feels. Like every love story there was the infamous case of miscommunication that if it didn’t exist the drama and angst we all crave would be non-existent, but who are we kidding that’s what makes the story so awesome. At this point I’m not sure what direction the Society X series will go, but I will definitely be in attention for whenever there is a new release.

A New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author.Originally from Portland, Oregon and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she now lives in picturesque Vermont, with her husband and two daughters. Also renting space in their home is an over-hyper Beagle/Jack Russell, Buttercup, and their newest addition of a Highland Westie/Mini Schnauzer, JiLL.

L.P. Dover’s Bio:
