About the Book

When Greyson tosses $20 on the stage of a strip club, the last thing he expects to see are the haunted green eyes staring back at him. Finley should be home raising her infant daughter and baking cookies, not tucking singles into her G-string and giving lap dances.

Greyson can't deny that he'd like his own private show, but there's not a chance in hell of that happening. The last time the former Navy SEAL saw her she was dressed in black, holding a folded flag and sobbing that it was all his fault... and he agreed with every single word. He couldn't do anything to help her then, but he can now.

Finley deserves better than this dingy club, and when an obsessed customer crosses the line, Greyson leads the rescue and will do whatever it takes to make amends for their broken past.

He never expected to want to settle down, but with Finley, everything is different. For the first time ever, he can breathe. But Greyson will have to fight for what he wants in order to keep the woman with the green eyes he's dreamed about so often.

Slow and steady perfectly explains the chemistry between Greyson and Finley. While I'm a fan of a lustful insta-romance there's nothing like that the slow ache that turns into an addictive burn. That's exactly what Kendall Ryan gave us with the second release of the Alphas Undone series.

Ex Navy Seal Greyson Acher wanted nothing more than to sit back and relax. After a long and tiring day working for a private security firm. Unbeknownst to him that moment of letting go would be very short lived. While taking in the eye candy at a local strip bar he noticed a woman from his past that he did not expect to see. Finley Sutten the wife of a fallen member of his team while serving in the military.

Finley is dealing with the downfalls of being a widow and single parent. Despite her decision to work in an unsavory gentleman's club she would do everything in her power to care for her daughter Maple. The moment her eyes connected with Greyson’s the wounds on her heart began fresh again.

Greyson’s guilt that lead him to want to save Finley from her current situation. Which was more than understandable considering her husband was killed on a mission he was in charge of.

Finley’s bitterness towards Greyson did not make things easy. I'm convinced her pride had much to do with it. All bets were off when he captured the heart of her daughter Maple.

While the progression of Greyson and Finley’s relationship has this natural progress, it also was somewhat awkward only because of Greyson friendship with Finley’s deceased husband.

At this point there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Ms. Ryan is not an absolute genius when it comes to creating worlds of angst and hopes full of a second chance at love.So if you’re over due for swooning I highly recommend you pick Slow & Steady.
