**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

Like most fans of Wicked Fall I was hoping for a story about Bridger, but instead I received a pleasant surprise with Cain. Cain Bonham is head of security at the Wicked Horse and a fantasy maker - the naughty and erotic kind. When he’s not making dirty dreams comes true for work, he still make women's toes curl for fun - but it's only a one time ride until a certain lady caught his attention by getting into a bar fight. I like Cain he was multi-layered while on the outside he’s strong, controlling, and on the inside he has the soft vulnerable side.

Of course, it would be too easy if Sloane Preston was who she appeared to be. She’s on an undercover assignment for a politico magazine. After being emotionally scarred by her politician dad. She has a vendetta against any person in power misbehaving badly. I had mixed feelings emotions about Sloane while she had this strong personally it was driven by revenge and fear.

The chemistry between Cain and Sloane was intense. Boundaries were pushed emotionally, sexually, and because some of the positions they were in physical boundaries were pushed as well.

Like a majority of Sawyer’s work The Wicked Horse is fabulously written. It’s full of angst, erotic sex - that at times made me blush. If you are a fan of romance, cowboys, and kink this definitely the one for you.
